Piazza Learning the DH
Mike Piazza was signed by the Oakland Athletics this week to become the designated hitter and occasion the catcher. Piazza signed a 1-year $8.5 million deal with the A's where he will be playing in a new league at a new position. Piazza had a decent year last season with the San Diego Padres, and the A's are hoping to get a repeat performance in 2007.
